no nutrient weed grow

You can even soak the compost in water for about ten days and use the “compost tea” on your plants to make sure the nutrients penetrate the soil.

Yes, it technically counts as adding nutrients, but it’s so natural it’s barely interfering.

So, can you grow cannabis without nutrients?

Or do you prefer to give calculated amounts of nutrients throughout the grow?

The good news: it’s totally possible!

This also tends to mean that you’re trying to grow with all-natural nutrients as opposed to using commercial/artificial mixes.

You can’t just mix together a few pounds of this stuff—this is a full-on ecosystem that will take a lot of ingredients, time (you have to let it sit for at least 30 days), and effort to mix properly.

Use Premade Soil

Foxfarm, Roots Organic and others are popular—you can even use Miracle-Gro if you like.

As always, make sure the plant gets plenty of light, whether from the sun or lamps.

This does not mean that it won’t grow without fertilizer, as not all nutrients are derived from fertilizer.

No because cannabis will not grow without nutrients.

Soil has varying degrees of nutrients. A sterile "soilless" medium such as coco will have very little to no nutrients, while rich organic soil might have more than enough for a crop of cannabis. Even tap water has some nutrients in the form of dissolved solids.

all plants need NPK or they will just start, grow alittle and die.

all plants need nutes, i use tap water myself but i let it sit for a few days before use to let the chlorine vapor off.
theres only calcium and some magnesium in tap water but those are just trace elements, and a trace is all a plant needs of some things.
but when it comes down to the NPK (nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) human assistance is needed.

If you check out the organic section you will see a lot of people who are growing with "super soil" which is highly amended poting soil that doesn’t need anything other than water to grow some great looking cannabis.
